Description

Join us from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon to quench your adventurous spirit at a wonderful 4 star lodge, a mere three hour drive from Durban. We can also run this tour during the week, as opposed to over a weekend.

This tour can also be used in conjuction with other tours such as:

Longer stays can be arranged, should you want to stay and experience more of the other activities as well.


Itinerary

Example of a Weekend Tour:

Day 1:

Arrive on Friday afternoon.

Day 2:

Wake up to the glorious sounds of nature. You choose what ride you would like to do, depending on your experience. In the afternoon, sit back, relax, and take a guided tour through the reserve in a open-top guide vehicle.

Day 3:

Choose your last ride of the weekend.


Ride Profile

Daily Distance: you have the option to choose from the following:

  • 10km flat ride.
  • 20km ride with some single track, with an additional 10km technical loop, more suited for fitter individuals.

More technical rides can be arranged.Grading: What does this mean?

  • 10km flat ride – Kulula
  • 20km single track – Pakathi
  • 20km single track plus 10km technical – Kulikhuni
  • By arrangement – Kulikhuni kakulu

Days Riding: 2 to 4 days, or longer
Vehicle Support: Limited.
Terrain and Route: Single track and technical through indigenous forests and the game reserve.
Additional info: We recommend tubeless tyres, or at the very least, tyre liners and tubes with anti-puncture slime.


Details

Group: Guided tour.
Accommodation: Luxury, family or standard chalet options separately spread under the shade of a rambling indigenous forest.
Food: All breakfasts, dinners, and teas and coffees in the rooms are included.
Additional info: Included in the cost is one game drive to Hluhluwe iMfolozi park (4 hour trip), with a guide in an open-top game viewer.
Additional activities: There are other activities available, at an additional cost.

Cost

Cost prices on request as per individualised tour. Minimum of four adults, we will take less but the price per person will be adjusted accordingly.
Bike Hire: R 130, including helmet.
